Join us for a captivating journey back to the original 1875 production of Bizet’s Carmen! In this pre-performance talk, stage director Romain Gilbert will shed light on the intricacies of opera in the late 19th century, and explore the meticulous artistry required to recreate the authentic sets, costumes and lighting of the time.
